Docs/Product Surfaces

Product Surfaces

Home, Workspace, Agents, CoWork, Productivity, Connect, DreamLab, Community, Marketplace, and Blackout.

Home

The conversational entry point with persistent memory, knowledge graph retrieval, and thread-aware context. Home supports all capability spine features including Hermes, JustBash, Blackboard, Gastown, Auto Research, and DreamLab eval traces.

Available on web, native, and CLI. Offline-capable with local model support.

Workspace

Repo-aware coding surface. Runs tests before claiming done. Produces diffs, patches, and a full audit trail. Every file edit and shell command produces typed receipts attached to canonical work items.

Supports sandbox and worktree isolation, browser-based development, and cross-device workspace continuity.

Agents

Mission control for autonomous agent orchestration. Squads, approvals, delegation chains, and real-time execution visibility. Agents is the surface profile over the generic harness contract that frames the CEO Nome coordinator identity.

Supports multi-agent coordination, approval workflows, and effort budget management. Requires the vmi_access entitlement.

CoWork

Run-board and execution surface for parallel workstreams. Beads task tracking, context packets, and canonical work-item binding. CoWork attaches to the same harness contract as all other surfaces.

Supports offline execution, Hermes skill integration, and browser-based research workflows.

Productivity

Planner and productivity surface with CRM foundation objects — contacts, accounts, pipelines, and comms. Work-item receipt attachment ensures every Productivity action is canonically tracked.

Pipeline creation supports server-generated keys and default seeded stages. CRM writes are policy-gated through tenant capabilities.

Connect

Room-based collaboration with agent participants, shared work items, org-scoped privacy, and threaded coordination. Connect rooms are the product contract — thread backing stays internal.

Invite flows, membership management, and privacy controls are Nome-owned. Requires the collab_access entitlement.

DreamLab

Eval harness and promotion pipeline. Golden traces provide replayable proof. The PackEvaluator detects regressions. The PromotionRulesEngine requires evidence and human gates for high-risk changes.

DreamLab is the bounded experimentation surface — it improves NOME offline through governed loops, never through live self-mutation.

Marketplace

Install packs, agents, and vertical workflows. The GitHub import pipeline provides secure repository cloning, security scanning, file indexing, and AGENTS.md generation.

Marketplace truth is Nome-owned policy — install state, visibility flags, rollout decisions, and tenant guardrails all live in the platform, not in a separate vendor control plane.

Blackout

Native-first offline surface. Local model execution with zero network latency, zero per-token API costs, and total data privacy. Runs on Apple Silicon using optimized local inference.

Blackout uses the same harness contract as online surfaces. Tool invocations that require network are queued as deferred tasks.
